Sebastian's RunWalk WEATHER UPDATE

We thank each of you for your generous support of Sebastian's RunWalk and the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Research Fund at Children's Hospital. Our event has been advertised as rain or shine and while we were hoping for another beautiful day like last year, it seems that is not to be. The forecast for tomorrow is for rain, with the possibility of severe weather, but the severe weather is expected to happen later in the day. We hope we will still have a great crowd for this event but want you to follow your own judgment and be safe. For anyone who preregistered and does not make it to the event, we will make arrangements to get you your t-shirts.

We ask you to keep your eye on the forecast and do what you feel is best.

If you don't mind getting wet and feel like you can come out safely, put on your poncho and come join us. We can all relive childhood memories of stomping in puddles. That is what Sebastian would have done.

Sebastian Lemos LIVED every day of his short seven years of life.

Whether it was dribbling a ball down the soccer field or enduring painful medical procedures, Sebastian faced each challenge with bravery and determination. Though Sebastian lost his fight against cancer, his journey gave inspiration to everyone who knew him. Your participation in Sebastian’s Walk for the Cure will not only honor Sebastian, but the funds raised will go directly to Children's’ Hospital to help other children who are facing childhood cancer.

The 2nd Annual Sebastian’s RunWalk for a Cure will be held on April 24, 2010 at Mt Laurel. The picturesque location will provide a perfect backdrop for :

Registration starts at 7:30, and the 5K RunWalk will start at 8:30, and the other events to follow after the conclusion of the 5K. The 2nd annual Sebastian’s RunWalk for a Cure will provide something for everyone to enjoy. We will have food, fun and kids’ activities.

Price to RunWalk:

$25/Adult(t-shirt)

$15/kids 12 and under (t-shirt and medal for fun run)

$60 family of four, plus $10 additional family members

So, how can you help? We are asking you for a monetary donation or a donation of merchandise or services to help make our event a success. In recognition of your donation, your company name will appear in the Sebastian’s RunWalk for a Cure Program that will be given to all attendees and you will have an opportunity to include one item in the participants goodie bag, and, of course, because Children's Hospital is a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation's retail value is completely tax-deductible as allowed by law.
